There is little justification for saying that we accumulated too much information because information is about all we can find in this desert of factless fictions. Now if we had been seeking somethibng greater, perhaps a solid or concrete example of the thing itself we could probably have concluded there were too many rocks, pebbles, and grains of sand. But instead we held a party on the outcropping because there was nothing else to do.
