Just about everything you find will show you that there are more things to be found because you can never find everything you may want to look for. But if you stop looking then you won't know what else you might have found had you only continued to search a little further. And that is why we continue to climb mountains and scale walls because the human spirit inevitably demands to know what else lies just beyond the horizon. We have to know whether there is room for us to breathe and grow and achieve all that we are capable of achieving.

Self-actualization is not the false pretense of fulfilling a self-appointed doom. Rather it is the process of growing through knowledge and trust in one's own capabilities and solitary skills. The self-actualized person seems to understand that there are moments when you must strike out to achieve greater things than all that you have accomplished before in the hope of leaving a better legacy than you would provide your heirs if you simply vanished today.
